Live videos, Reels and Stories behave slightly differently

A Live broadcast cannot be saved while it is still running — there is no finished file until the stream ends and Facebook publishes the replay, after which it behaves like any other video. Reels save as vertical MP4s with their audio and 9:16 shape intact. Stories are the urgent case: they are removed automatically after 24 hours, so a story has to be saved while it is still visible. Once it has expired, no tool anywhere can bring it back.
